Comet C/2021 S3 Panstarrs: an image – 28 May 2024
We imaged comet C/2021 S3 Panstarrs again, now looking fainter than earlier this month. Our image is below.

The image above comes from the sigma clipping combination of 10, 120-second unfiltered exposures, taken with the ARTEC250+Paramount ME+C3Pro61000EC robotic unit available as part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Manciano, Italy. The telescope tracked the object while imaging.
Now, the tail is clearly broader than one month ago, when the comet likely was showing a neck-line.
