Jupiter and Mars meet in the sky: online observation (14 Aug. 2024)

Next 14 and 15 Aug. 2024, Jupiter and Mars will shine very close in the sky, at dawn. We will show this stunning conjunction live, online.

In mid-August 2024, Jupiter and Mars will shine a bit more than one quarter of a degree away, 50% of the angular size of our Moon, early in the morning, just before dawn.

The Virtual Telescope Project is ready to bring the experience to you from Italy, using its robotic telescopes in Tuscany, in the beautiful landscape of the Maremma: join us live, online, from the comfort of your home.

The live feed is scheduled for 14 Aug. 2024 and it will start at 02:30 UTC.
