On 1 Nov. 2019, the near-Earth Asteroid 2019 UG11 will have a very close, but safe, encounter with us, coming at about 210.000 km from the Earth, a bit more than half of the average lunar distance. The Virtual Telescope Project will show it to you live!

The near-Earth asteroid 2019 UG11, discovered by the Mt. Lemmon Survey (Arizona) on 29 Oct. 2019 and announced the same day by the Minor Planet Center, has an estimated diameter in the range 13-29 meters.The Virtual Telescope Project will show it live, thanks to its advanced technologies, bringing it to you via the Internet. This way, you can join the journey from the comfort of your home.
