The Moon and Venus: online observation – 23 Apr. 2023
Next 23 April, the Moon and Venus, the brightest objects in the night sky, will shine together, offering a very beautiful view. We will share the show live, online: join us from the comfort of your home.
The Moon and Venus will be just 2 degrees apart, with our satellite showing its elegant earthshine: the brightest gems of the night will shine together to our delight.
The Virtual Telescope Project will bring to you this spectacular view, sharing the sight in real-time from Italy.
The online, free session is scheduled for 23 Apr. 2023, starting at 18:30 UT.
In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled.
