Next 2-3 Jan. 2025 the Quadrantid meteors will reach their peak of activity in a moonless sky, offering the best observing conditions.
At the Virtual Telescope Project we will broadcast the meteor shower live, online, for free. We will share the view of our wide field camera installed in Manciano, under the darkest skies of the Italian peninsula, to show any potential meteor it will capture.
The online, free session to see the Quadrantid 2025 meteor shower is scheduled for 3 Jan. 2023, starting at 17:00 UT: that is around the time of the predicted peak and we hope to spot some nice meteors.
In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled.
