A Journey through the Solar System: six planets at a glance – online observation (25 Jan. 2025)
Around Jan. 25, we will see six planets of seven at a glance: Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune will be above the horizon all together. We will show all of the live: join the adventure online, from the comfort of your home.
We will have the opportunity to explore, during the same observing session all, the planets, with the only exception of Mercury. Such a parade happens from time to time and we decided to share this event with our friends around the world. The alignment among the planets comes from the fact that their orbits lie on planes not too much different from the one hosting the orbit of our Earth.
On 25 Jan. 2025 we will host a special live feed, covering such a parade. We will observe all the planets, showing them in real time thanks to our robotic telescopes in Manciano, in the wonderful landscape of the Maremma in Tuscany, under the darkest skies of the Italian peninsula.
Our live feed is scheduled for 25 Jan., starting at 17:30 UTC.
