The almost full Moon and the Red Planet will offer us a nice view, which is just matter of perspective: our satellite will be at 383.000 km from us, just around the corner, while Mars distance will be around 109 millions of km, about 280 times farther away.

The Virtual Telescope Project will share the view with the world, showing this wonderful conjunction live, online. The free observing session is scheduled for 9 Feb. 2025, starting at 19:00 UT.

In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled.
