Sixteen years after I co-discovered them from Campo Catino Astronomical Observatory, I was able to observe again both asteroids (20513) Lazio and (21799) Ciociaria, named after the Region and the local area where I grew up, respectively.

(20513) Lazio was discovered on 10 Sept. 1999, it has an estimated size of almost 5 km and it orbits at an average distance from the Sun of 380 millions of km; (21799) Ciociaria was found on 1 Oct. 1999, its diameter is estimated to be about 8.3km and its mean distance from the Sun is about 460 millions of km.

Images were remotely collected with the PlaneWave 17″+Paramount ME+SBIG STL-6303E robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project.
